Lu Lunar Calendar Privacy Policy

This policy covers the iOS app "Lu Lunar Calendar" (祿・農曆節氣萬年曆, shown as "祿" on the Home Screen; "the app"). In short: the app does not collect any data.

1. Who we are

• Service: Lu Lunar Calendar

2. What we collect: nothing

The app:

• needs no account and has no login;
• makes no network requests and sends no data to us or to anyone else;
• has no analytics, crash reporting or advertising tools;
• does not track you, in the app or across other apps and websites.

This is why the app's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

3. What stays on your device

To work, the app keeps a few settings on your device only (in iOS UserDefaults). We cannot see them:

• appearance settings (for example, light or dark theme);
• which reminders are on, and their times;
• the date you last "tore off" the daily page.

All dates, lunar dates, solar terms and moon phases are calculated on your device. If you delete the app, this data is deleted too.

4. Notifications

If you turn on reminders (for example the daily page, the new and full moon, the eve of a solar term, or the eve of a festival), your device schedules them as local notifications. No push server is used and no data is sent. You can turn them off at any time in the app's settings or in iOS Settings.

5. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets

The widgets read date data that the app prepares on the same device, through an iOS App Group (a shared space on the device). This data does not leave your device.

6. Third parties

The app contains no third-party services or tools that collect data. We do not share, sell or rent any data to anyone.

7. Children

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If the app ever starts to collect any data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label first.
